Overview

Building a Disciplined & Respectful Campus

Satyadeo College Gouripur is committed to maintaining a campus environment built on mutual respect, academic integrity, and responsible conduct. The Disciplinary Rules of the college are formulated to ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive learning atmosphere for every student, faculty member, and staff.

Every student, upon admission, is expected to acquaint themselves with these rules and abide by them throughout their academic journey at the college. Ignorance of the rules shall not be accepted as an excuse for any misconduct.

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. A disciplined student is a student who is truly empowered to succeed.”

These rules apply to all students — on campus, during college-sponsored events, on field trips, in hostels, and in any situation where the student is representing or associated with Satyadeo College Gouripur.

03
Academic Integrity

Cheating, plagiarism, copying, or any form of academic dishonesty in examinations, assignments, or projects is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and further action.

04
Respect & Non-Violence

No student shall engage in verbal abuse, physical assault, intimidation, or any behaviour that is disrespectful to fellow students, faculty, staff, or the institution. Ragging is a criminal offence and is strictly banned.

05
Mobile Phone & Electronic Devices

Use of mobile phones and electronic devices inside classrooms, library, and examination halls is strictly prohibited. Devices must be switched off or on silent mode while on campus.

06
Campus Cleanliness & Property

Students must maintain the cleanliness of classrooms, corridors, laboratories, and campus grounds. Wilful damage or defacement of college property is a punishable offence and the cost of damage shall be recovered from the student.

07
Prohibited Substances

The use, possession, or distribution of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicant within or in the vicinity of the college campus is strictly forbidden and may result in rustication.
